Everything You Need to Know
Full terms & conditions for Sweet Ana are detailed below.
By making an initial payment it will be deemed
that the terms are understood and accepted as
applying to your order.
Payment Conditions
Initial Payments
A non-refundable of 50% initial payment
is required in order to secure the chosen date
with Sweet Ana.
An order is not confirmed until the payment
has been made.
For orders under £50, full payment is required
to secure the date, and no later than 3
weeks before the event, unless otherwise
agreed by Sweet Ana.
Payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.

Please email us with confirmation of transfer in
order to prompt acknowledgement of the
payment and a receipt will be sent.
Final payment for your cake is required before
the collection if paid by bank transfer please
email us with the confirmation of transfer
or can be paid by cash at the time of collection.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, we reserve the
right to retain your 50% deposit.
Any balance paid after that can however be
refunded if the cake is cancelled over 2 weeks
before the cake is due. If cancellation occurs 7
days prior then 100% of the value will be
retained to cover the costs of production of
the cake.
Cancellation must be made by email to
Sweet Ana and will only be deemed to take
effect from the date your email is received at
our premises.
Design Condition
If requested changes will be accepted until 2
weeks prior to the event.
We will endeavour to adjust the design where
possible, but sometimes this is not possible.
If the alteration affects the cost, or preparation
work for the original design has already been
undertaken, then your balance will be adjusted
accordingly.
Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a
cake produced by any other cake maker, can
only be reproduced as our interpretation of
that cake and will not be an exact
reproduction of thecake in the picture or
photo, otherwise, Sweet Ana may be
in breach of Copyright Laws.
Our products are not made in a factory nor
mass produced, therefore most sugarpaste
decorations used on our cakes orders, are
uniquely and individually handmade by
Sweet Ana.
Therefore they may not be uniformed and also
vary slightly to each other.
Portions
This depends on the size of the piece of cake
and wether it is for a child or na adult and the
occasion too.
Round Cake
4 Inch Cakes – Provides up to 8 servings
6 Inch Cakes – Provides 12 – 14 servings
8 Inch Cakes – Provides 18 – 22 servings
10 Inch Cakes – Provides 35 + servings
12 Inch Cakes – Provides 50 + servings
Square Cake
6 Inch Cake – Provides 16 servings
8 Inch Cake – Provides 25 servings
10 Inch Cake – Provides 48 + servings
12 Inch Cake – Provides 60 + servings
Allergies
Please advise us if you have any allergens/
intolerance’s that may affect your order.
Please be aware that Sweet Ana do not cater
for food allergies, although these ingredients
can be removed from the cakes, they are still
used in our kitchens so we cannot guarantee
that any of our cakes are completely free
of all traces for people who are
highly sensitive.
Food colourings are used within many of our
orders, some of these contain E numbers,
which may have an adverse effect on activity
and attention in children.
Non-Edible Items
Items may contain non edible components;
such as support dowels, ribbon and decorative
toppers.
Please remove them before serving.
Photographs/ Copyright
By placing an order with Sweet Ana you agree
that all art work and designs created by Sweet
Ana will not be used by any other person
to create from without prior permission. No person shall have entitlement to copy or
reproduce, or make use of any photograph or
design image on my social media or website
without prior consent.
We reserve the right to photograph your cake
order, before collection for our own reference
and may be used for advertising purposes.
Collection & Transit
When collecting, please arrive at the
pre-arrenged time.
On collection of the cake please make sure you
have a space for the cake either in the
passenger footwell or the boot.
You will need to make sure the car is cool prior to collecting the cake and transport the cake
straight to the event. Drive carefully around corners and bumps. To avoid damaging the cake, lift and hold the
box from underneath, trying not to press
on the sides.
Please do not take the cake on someones lap or on the seat, Once at the event keep your item ona flat surface in a cool room, out of sunlight.
We will not be held liable for any damage to the
cake once it has left our premises.
Storage & Consumption
Please try and keep cakes in a cool room/area
or preferably in the fridge if it’s hot in order to preserve the buttercream (remove 30mins prior to eating). Sugarpaste cakes should not be
refrigerated, as it will cause condensation to
form on the surface of the icing.
Your cake is baked to ensure it is fresh for the
date of your event. Once cut, cake should be
wrapped in cling film or storaged in a sealed
container to maintain it’s freshness; cakes
and cupcakes will be best eaten within 3 days
of collecting them.
We cannot guarantee it’s quality if it’s
consumed after that.
Our cakes are made entirely of natural
ingredients, so we’d like to remind you that
because of this they will not have the extended
shelf life of most supermarket cakes, which
contain additives and preservatives to ensure
their prolonged life.
Complaints
If you have concerns about your cake, please
notify us upon collection.
All other concerns should be made in writing
within 24hours of collection, and evidence of
the fault should be included. A refund is only given if the uneaten cakes are
returned, and are unsuitable for consumption/notas described in the written quote.
No refunds are given due to change of mind.
